We admit children to our school in the September after their fourth birthday.  We hold school tours on Monday's and Friday's at 11am.  Should you wish to take a tour of the school, please call reception on 01252 350 583 or email rec@st-josephs.hants.sch.uk to book a date in the diary. 

RECEPTION 2024/2025 ADMISSIONS

The Year R Admissions main round for the September 2024 is now CLOSED.

If you need to make a late application, you will need to do this via your local authority.  If you live in Hampshire, you can do so via the following link:

Late applications for the initial intake to Reception and Year 3 will be considered in accordance with Hampshire County Council's Admissions Scheme.

In addition to the online application, St. Joseph’s requires a Supplementary Information Form to be completed. This form can be downloaded from the link below.  Should you prefer, you can collect a paper copy from the School Reception. (Please note that we will require ORIGINAL copies of all your supporting documentation).

IN YEAR TRANSFERS

In order to make an In Year Transfer application, you will need to do this via your local County Council website.  In addition to the online application, you will also need to complete and return the Supplementary Form below.  Please note that our published admissions number (PAN) for all our year groups is 70.

Please note that we will require ORIGINAL copies of all your supporting documentation.

ADMISSION ARRANGEMENTS 2025 - 2026

WAITING LISTS

Where there are more applicants than places available, a waiting list will operate for each year group according to our agreed Admissions Arrangements and without regard to the date the application was received or when a child's name was added to the waiting list.  Waiting lists will be reviewed in the Summer term of each Academic Year and parents will be contacted to see whether they wish for their child to remain on the waiting list.  Failure to confirm your child's position on the waiting list will result in  your child's removal from the list.

CONSULTATIONS

Consultation takes place with the following :

Parents of the school with children aged 2 to 11; All admission authorities with schools residing in Aldershot; The Local Authority; The Catholic Diocese of Portsmouth. (SAC 1.44)
