7. Draw your life as if it was a road, drawing or writing on all the important people and places and things that have happened. Talk through it noting accompanying feelings and thoughts/beliefs that are associated with particular times or events in your child's life. Rank events in order of importance or impact. Consider which ones your child would value talking about more. What questions does your child have about any elements of the road. What different emotions are associated with each event or place marked on the road. Ask what made that time feel like that? Where is it going from now? Is that where they want it to go? Does it have to go there, and if so, how come? If they were someone else , where would they want it to go?
